How do you practice timing? Do you practice using your foot tapping with the metranome first?

sir i am interesed in rock metal..its needs more practice .. but i cant able to sit more than a hour for practise… and while practising i not having full concentration sir… please tell some ideas for practising more hours with full concentration.. i will follow ur ideas…. thanks

I purchased the VCD 082807 ultimate fretboard guide a while ago. Is this the same material as your new DVD? If not is it different enough to require re-purchasing it? And if I must do that can I get a discount on the new stuff? I downloaded the PDF book. Is it the same?
